Guernsey Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, or any dash cam footage that could help, as officers investigate what happened when two cyclists collided with a "white SUV-style" vehicle on Sunday morning.

Police are interested in any footage that may have captured the collision between a vehicle of that description and two cyclists at the L'Ancresse Common/Mont Cuet Road junction.

The incident is reported to have taken place at around 10:15 on Sunday morning, and led to the cyclists having to go to the hospital for treatment.

It was one of many incidents that took place on a busy Liberation Day weekend for the emergency services.

Anyone with information or footage that could be helpful to the investigation ae asked to contact PC 177 Le Galloudec on 725111 or report information anonymously on 0800 555 111.
