A one tonne bag filled with scrap copper has been stolen from Griffith's Yard.
The bag was nicked from the site on the North Side of the Bridge sometime between 24 January and the 27 January.
Guernsey Police are now looking in to the matter, and want to speak to anyone who is offered any scrap metal for sale.
Investigating Officers said they suspected a vehicle was involved with the theft, and that there was a "significant amount" of scrap copper in the bag.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police on 725111 or report information anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
