Guernsey Waste is inviting firms to bid for the contract to process the thousands of tonnes of recycled glass from all sources in the island.
The firm with the winning tender will be responsible for glass collected from the kerbside, the Longue Hougue recycling centre, and from commercial premises.
The contract expires at the end of the year, and any interested parties have until 27 September to submit a bid.
Guernsey Waste is hoping to get the best commercial rate for the job and plans to award the contract in early autumn ahead of the contract commencing in January 2025.
2,750 tonnes of glass was exported to the UK for recycling last year.
