More Condor sailings cancelled

Thursday 09 April 2020

Condor has cancelled all passenger sailings until the middle of May, which takes us beyond the next planned review of the corona virus lockdown measures.

The suspensions are part of ongoing travel restrictions and follow on from the States of Guernsey's decision this week to extend the lockdown until the end of next week at least.

They include all high speed services from Poole and St Malo up to and including Thursday 14 May.

"We have to react to the changing circumstances and government imposed constraints on travel, which have regrettably led us to cease Poole and St Malo sailings for a further two weeks," said Condor CEO, Paul Luxon.

"This is a very difficult and inconvenient situation for everyone, as we have now cancelled seven weeks of our busy spring schedule which are so important for the visitor economy and travel for Islanders."

All those who were due to travel with the ferry company will be offered the chance to rebook their trip or exchange it for a credit voucher, which will be valid for 18 months.

"Our contact teams will be extremely busy during this period and we ask for patience due to the unprecedented changes to the schedule."
