Passengers on last night's Condor's Clipper and Liberation sailings had a longer trip than expected, with strong winds in Guernsey meaning both ships had to be redirected.
Neither boats were able to dock in the island's waters and both went on to Jersey.
While the Liberation's passengers had to choose between a return trip to Poole or an overnight stay in Jersey, the Clipper made another attempt to reach Guernsey.

Once again, that attempt was unsuccessful so the Clipper returned to Portsmouth with her passengers onboard. As a result she is running 90 minutes behind schedule today and her routing has been altered to travel Portsmouth-Jersey-Guernsey.
Condor also put on an additional sailing from Jersey to Guernsey this morning using the Rapide for those that were stuck there last night.
If you were on board any of the affected sailings and wish to share your experiences please comment below or email editor@bailiwickexpress.com.
