The organisers of the annual series of stand up comedy shows in Guernsey are hoping to entertain everyone from the youngest children to their great grandparents this week.
The event starts tonight with Stand Up Guernsey, which will be headlined by Nathan Caton (pictured above) who the organisers said "is regarded as one of the best young comics in the UK."
His anecdotes have led to appearances on BBC1's Live at the Apollo, BBC2's Mock The Week, The Apprentice: You're Fired and Channel 4's Comedy Gala.
Mr Caton will be appearing at Les Rocquettes Hotel tonight, while Tiff Stevenson will headline the shows on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June.

Ms Stevenson is currently performnging her eighth solo show 'Bombshell' on tour across the UK to rave reviews and she has also competed four series of the BAFTA winning series People Just Do Nothing and has also appeared on Mock the Week and 8 out of 10 Cats.
"We are delighted to welcome two such fantastic headline acts to Stand Up Guernsey" said organiser Nick Creed. "Neither could perform at all three nights due to TV filming commitments, so we decided to work around their schedules and bring them both over!"

Appearing at all three Stand Up Guernsey shows is Canadian comedian Dylan Rhymer who is described as offering an "intelligent provocative and fast-paced brand of stand-up."

Regular compere, Geoff Whiting will be returning to host the shows.

Les Roquettes Hotel is also hosting other comedy shows to appeal to both younger and older audiences again this year.
On Friday afternoon, members of Age Concern will enjoy an afternoon of comedy films with refreshments and cakes courtesy of Les Rocquettes Hotel and Sarnia Mutual, while on Saturday afternoon Kids Komedy returns with the great bald magician 'El Baldiniho'.
He has "his own brand of daft prop-based magic comedy and spoof mind reading."
"These community based shows are an important part of what we do at #GsyComedy" said Mr Creed. "Although we have moved away from a week-long festival it is great to still be able to share the laughter with young and old audiences alike thanks to our sponsor Sarnia Mutual."
