They've applied for a liquor licence for the Poids de la Reine building on Market Street.
Rihoys are currently doing some work to both the inside and outside of the former cafe building, which has the liquor licence application notification stuck to the front door.
The liquor licence application has been made by Pearl Oyster LTD which is the registered owner of Coco Brasserie in St Peter Port.
The court hearing has been set for 21 May, intimating a new eatery could open soon after in the Market.
