St Sampson's School musicians are joining together with the States of Harmony Choir this evening to raise money for Dementia Friendly Guernsey.
The school's Head Girl, Jodie Mechem, has organised the event with help from one of her teachers.
"Recently my gran has been diagnosed with the early stages of vascular dementia," she explained, "so that really pushed me to raise money for a really good cause and also raise awareness of the charity."
The St Sampson's High School Choir, Community Stage Sound and school soloists will perform alongside the States of Harmony Choir from 19:00 this evening.

Tickets are £3 and will be available on the door.
"So far, we have raised £300 from tickets but we're hoping to get more from the raffle and there will be donation buckets as well," Miss Mechem explained.
The school's PTA will offer refreshments and has agreed to donate all profits to Dementia Friendly Guernsey.
Doors will open at 18:45 and more information is available by contacting the St Sampson's School office on 244411.
