Stock and equipment from two defunct businesses are being sold off - with large discounts available.
Carpetright's Guernsey store closed its doors at Admiral Park in July after the firm was bought out, with the new owners not wanting to take on all of the sites.
Tapi Carpets and Floors Limited announced it had bought 56 of Carpetright's sites - covering 54 shops and two logistics hubs – but not the Channel Islands stores meaning both Guernsey and Jersey staff lost their jobs immediately.
The Guernsey shop was closed with immediate effect on the buy out and has not reopened since.
However, adverts have recently appeared on social media posted by GFF Guernsey advertising Carpetright stock for sale at discount prices.
The bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, tiles, and homeware supplier has been operating since 1978, but the administrator said that since the COVID-19 pandemic, the company had experienced increasingly severe financial pressures as a result of the difficult trading conditions.
A closing down sale was opened at the business's Forest Road site last month, before equipment used by its staff was put up for auction by Eddisons.
Assets - including appliances, furniture and trade goods - can be viewed until Friday with the auction closing on Monday, while warehouse plant and equipment opens for viewing next Tuesday with that auction closing on Wednesday.
