Police are putting out a fresh call for witnesses as they continue to investigate a motorist who collided with a roadside wall and drove off.

A vehicle hit a wall on Route De La Charruee at around 00:25 on Sunday 25 April.

Guernsey Police area is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who saw a vehicle driving along the road with considerable damage to the front end of their vehicle. 

"We are specifically interested in speaking to two members of the public who may have spoken to the driver of the vehicle whilst walking along that road," said PS 42 Wilen.

"One of the witnesses may have been walking with a push bike at the time."
