Catching a bus will cost more from January.
The standard daytime bus fare will be £1.60 if using a debit card, up by 10p, and £1.15 using a Puffinpass, up 15p.
Environment & Infrastructure confirmed the decision after going out to consultation.
In June 2023 the standard fare rose to £1.25 from £1, followed by an increase to £1.50 in October that year. When the January increase comes in it will have risen by 60% in a year and a half.
Bus passenger numbers are down this year compared to 2023 which were significantly boosted by the Island Games.
In the year to October, 1,688,831 passengers were carried, compared to 1,711,309 the year before, a fall of 1.31%, and also fewer than 2019 (1,810,688) and 2018 (1,709,270).
But they have been recovering since the impact of Covid.
