Bulwer Avenue to close for three days

Tuesday 14 May 2024

Three utilities will get to work on a series of upgrades and installations on Bulwer Avenue this week, closing the road until Sunday evening (19 May).

The closure, which begins from 17:00 on 16 May, affects the stretch between the junction at Longue Hougue and the entrance to Norman Piette.

Guernsey Electricity, Guernsey Water and Sure will be working together to connect utilities to the new development site on the road.

Work will be carried out over the weekend to minimise disruption, with access to Longue Hougue from the south, and Norman Piette and other businesses from the north.

Geomarine and Trant are carrying out the works.

The three utility companies apologised in advance for any inconvenience, and pledged to work as fast as possible to complete the job.
