A Blue Islands plane declared an emergency and was forced to return to Jersey on Wednesday [21 February] morning after its landing gear became stuck.
The aircraft had just departed to Exeter at about 09:30 when the pilot reported that the gear could not be raised.
In a statement, Ports of Jersey said: "There was an emergency declared this morning [Wednesday] when the landing gear of a departing ATR aircraft (the SI2206 to Exeter) became stuck and could not be raised.
"The plane turned back and landed safely in Jersey at 09:39."
