Guernsey Police are looking for witnesses who could verify an incident at Beeton's Fish and Chip shop last week where one person allegedly spat on another.
It happened at around 18:15 on Thursday 27 July inside the chip shop on Pitronnerie Road.
"It is believed there were quite a few people inside Beeton’s at the time who may have witnessed a male, who was in company of a female, spit on another male. All three then exited Beeton’s following the incident," said PC 118 Saini, who is investigating.
