The rare chance to buy a Banksy print in Guernsey pushed its selling price to almost double the asking price when it went under the hammer.
The 'Bar Code Leopard' was given to Martel Maides to auction on Thursday with the fine art experts setting it a starting price of £8,000.
It went up in price to £15,000 before it was 'sold' to the winning bidder, who had faced competition from potential buyers in person and over the phone.
