Changes in place as Bring Banks re-open

Tuesday 09 March 2021

Bring banks have re-opened, including Salvation Army clothing banks and textile banks.

We’re being asked to make sure that clothes are bagged securely when being dropped off. Clothes will also be accepted at the Household Waste & Recycling Centre.

Restrictions include the need for people to wear face coverings, along with two-metre social distancing at all sites. We’re being asked to only visit the banks if absolutely necessary.

The Household Waste & Recycling Centre isn’t accepting items for re-use yet, but this could happen before Stage 3.

The States of Guernsey are working with GO to get the service re-started as soon as possible. Meanwhile, waste and recycling collections will continue as normal.

You can find more information on opening times online.
