Autism Aware badge launched

Wednesday 15 January 2025

Autism Guernsey has launched an Autism Aware Badge, an initiative designed to recognise organisations that have received autism awareness training or support from the charity.

The badge can be displayed at business premises and on websites, serving as a visible mark of an organisation’s commitment to creating more inclusive and supportive spaces for autistic staff, customers, and clients.

Martine Ellis, Training Manager at Autism Guernsey, said: "The Autism Aware Badge is more than just a symbol—it represents meaningful action. It shows that an organisation has taken steps to better understand autism and is actively working towards creating environments where autistic people can thrive."

Autism Guernsey will contact previous training clients, providing them with their badge.
