This weekend is your FINAL chance to catch Class Act Productions’ amazing rendition of the classic pantomime; ‘Alice in Wonderland’!
The show, taking place in the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts Theatre, would make for the perfect family outing or solo adventure.

This Saturday 13 January, between 09:30 and 12:30, Beau Sejour will play host to the first ‘Joyous Childhood’ Family event!
The event, aimed at Guernsey Families with children under the age of 5, will feature; two film screenings of ‘The Snail and The Whale’, a plethora of exciting and interesting service and charity stalls, activities for the children, and even a kids clothes swap and repair organised by The Clean Earth Trust.
While the film screening is now booked up, with just a handful of single seats available, the main event is free for all families, parents and children to attend.

On Saturday 20 January from 20:00, the incredible Guernsey Bach Choir and Orchestra will return to St James to, once again, fill the hall with powerful and harmonious song.
The Guernsey Bach Choir, formed in 2007, have performed a large repertoire of choral music and are now a well-established vocal ensemble with a growing reputation for high standard performances.
On this evening, they will perform a series of songs from a set of 12 extended anthems known as the “Chandos Anthems”, written by G F Handel for the Duke of Chandos in 1720. Professional guest tenor Nicholas Hurndall Smith will be joined by local soprano Laura Oxburgh.

If you’re looking for the perfect wind-down after a long day, Iris and Dora have got you covered.
Taking place in their wonderful studio at the bottom of Ruette Braye, their self-directed pottery painting sessions are the perfect way to enjoy an evening out with friends or family. Why not come along with a work colleague, or by yourself. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people!
Don’t forget, you are welcome to bring along food/drink of your own if you wish to do so. They also have cold drinks and a coffee machine.
Please note that, while booking isn’t normally necessary, Thursday evenings can get busy. It’s always best to call and reserve your spot to avoid missing out. Happy painting!

Local band, Bordeaux Blue, will be taking to the stage from 20:30 to add a soulful soundtrack to your evening out.
