Just can’t wait for Christmas? Why not make your way down to the Market Square to soak up some live music and the charming market. If early festivities aren't your thing, we’ve got you covered with a plethora of live music events, performance art, workshops and clubs.
This Friday 24th of November at 7pm, Guernsey based multi-genre producer and performer, Garry Minto AKA Its Own Animal, will be launching their new album: Strike a Spark (Against the Dark) at the cafe at St James.
“Its Own Animal, with the amazing singer and musician Eloise Fabbri, will be bringing all the toys and a full on electronic set of atmospheric, spaced out songs, banging dub, and funky rave grooves, and a new video too.”
Guest Artists will include a DJ set from Flexagon and a performance of his wonderful new single by Flexagon and friends, as well as a set by the amazing Hollie Thorne and John Sealy.
As this event is taking place in the cafe, space is limited. Make sure to secure your tickets early!
Head down to the Town Church on Friday the 24th of November from 6pm, to attend Huanui Music’s annual concert of war poetry and song, featuring the premiere of Cheryl Frances-Hoad’s setting of “Resistance” by Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage.
Expect a beautiful series of songs, thought-provoking spoken word, and an opportunity to show your respect and commemorate those lost.

The Thomas De La Rue welcomes the Vale Earth Fair Collective on Saturday the 25th of November for some old school Earth Fair fun, and some great DJ tunes.
Music will be kicking off at 8pm, so why not head down early to grab a bite to eat and a drink at the bar before the party starts.

Improvised comedy group, The Guernsey Improbables, welcome you all to see their showcase at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts, on Monday the 27th of November.
This show will begin at 7:30pm, and is made up on the spot using your suggestions! The graduates of the latest improv comedy course will take to the stage with professional improviser Sarah Hansmann & Oliver Bailey-Davies with surprise special guests.

The Christmas season is almost upon us, and with that comes the return of the vibrant Christmas Market, inside and outside the Market Square!
The festive market will be kicking off next Thursday the 30th of November, and will run each Thursday and Saturday all the way up to the 23rd of December.
