Guernsey Police say two fires in the Collings Road, St Peter Port, area were started deliberately.

Both are believed to have been sparked with blue rolls of tissue and aerosols.

In both incidents the Guernsey Fire and Rescue Service were called out to the busy residential area.

The first fire was at 12:45 on Saturday 3 February and the second at 06:40 on Sunday 4 February.

Guernsey Police are now investigating after the blue roll and aerosols were found and linked to the small fires in the road.

Anyone with any information should call PC 148 Potter on 725111 or Crimestoppers anyonymously on 0800 555 111.
