With marine fuel costing less than elsewhere, another so-called super yacht has docked in St Peter Port to take advantage of the prices.

The 81 metre Feadship Motor Yacht Air arrived in St Peter Port Harbour on Thursday evening, after sailing across from Harlingen on the northern coast of the Netherlands.

Refuelling was due to start on Friday morning, with the vessel expected to take on 100,000 litres of marine diesel before departure.

Lucas Freight were the reported acting Handling Agents while the boat was docked in Guernsey waters.

The fuel was estimated to have cost the owners more than £60,000 at recent prices.
