Air Display organisers appeal for community support

Friday 27 August 2021

The annual Guernsey Battle of Britain Air Display is due to take to the Bailiwick skies on Thursday 9 September, and islanders are being encouraged to show their support by becoming a ‘Friend’ of the Display.

It costs £15 to become a friend and you receive a Guernsey Air Display pin badge, your name listed on the ‘Friends of’ page in the official Air Display programme and a chance to win one of three pairs of VIP tickets to watch the Display from a reception at Castle Cornet.

The annual display relies heavily on sponsorship and support, with more information on this year’s schedule available HERE.

Russell Clark, from the Guernsey Air Display Foundation, said: We know thousands of islanders take to Guernsey’s East Coast to watch the display, we’d love it if each and every person who watches the display could become a friend.

The pin badges are unique to the year of the display and are popular with school children on their blazers and collectors.

This is an easy way for the people of Guernsey to show their support of the display in a small way.  Please join us and become a ‘Friend’ along with all your friends and family.

You can sign up to become a ‘Friend’ by visiting: www.guernseyairdisplay.com, emailing natalie@black-vanilla.gg or by phoning 729229.
