Guernsey DJ Andre De Carteret has swapped his turntables for a bike this summer as he embarks on the Tour de Sez, which for him includes a 24 hour fundraising cycling challenge.
Also known as DJ Oneofakind, Mr De Carteret embarked on a training plan last year when he first signed up for the third cycling challenge in memory of Sarah Groves, who was murdered five years ago while staying on a houseboat in Kashmir.
Up to one hundred cyclists and support staff will set off from Guernsey for Amsterdam in September, with each individual training while also fundraising for the Sarah Groves Foundation.
Mr De Carteret had aimed to set off from Vistas at Vazon at 10:00 today, with the intention of cycling as many miles as possible in 24 hours before finishing at the Liberation Monument in St Peter Port at 10:00 on Friday 22 June.
A number of people are expected to cycle in stages with Mr De Carteret as he takes different routes around the island.
You can sponsor Mr De Carteret on his Just Giving Page here.
