This weekend marks Torteval's 15th Scarecrow Festival, which is set to run both today and tomorrow around the parish church.
As well as the scarecrows, there will be the usual tea tent, the old tractor club, bouncy castles, ice cream, pop corn, cider, gache and more.
On Saturday the event will also be attended by a number of classic bikes and a fire engine from 14:00 through the afternoon.
The trail itself is estimated to take around an hour and a half through the Torteval lanes, free parking is available as always, and bus routes 91, 92, 93 and 94 will take people to the start point.
The bar at the start is also licensed and entertainment of all sorts is planned for the fete.
