These dramatic pictures show the designs for headquarters of global drone company DJI which includes a skybridge to showcase their latest tech.
The visionary buildings, currently under construction in Shenzhen, China, also feature quadruple height drone flight testing labs.
Grant Brooker, head of studio at Foster + Partners, said: “Our aim is to create a unique workplace environment that embodies the spirit of invention and innovation that has allowed DJI to lead the world in robotics and technology.”
Central to the Foster + Partners design are the column-free floors cantilevered from central cores by large steel mega-trusses.
“The ground floor features a public exhibition space that pays tribute to DJI’s extraordinary reputation for technological development, alongside a new theatre for new product launches and a wide variety of staff facilities from state-of-the-art gymnasiums to robot fighting rings,” explained Foster + Partners in a statement.
The company wanted to break free from traditional office ideas and to make a “creative community in the sky”.
