After teasing fans on Tuesday, Bethesda has confirmed a new Fallout game is on the way and will be called Fallout 76.

A new title in the post-apocalypse universe is something of a surprise given that the last release, Fallout 4, only came out in 2015.

Few details about the game beyond its title and this trailer – which shows the inside of a fallout shelter familiar to players of the series – have been released.

But developer Bethesda will reveal more details about the game during its E3 presentation in June.

As the wait begins, some fans have already had their say on the numbering sequence issues that seem to be plaguing the games industry.

Despite any numerical concerns though, plenty of others were keen to find out more about the upcoming game.
