An extendable barbecue that clips on to a bike has almost reached its fundraising target on Kickstarter.
Knister Grill can be transported and extended to double its size, as well as storing food inside before it’s cooked.
The barbecue can be left smaller for two-to-three people, and can be extended to feed up to nine.
Carolin Kunert, product development and design officer at Knister, said: “I first had the idea for a BBQ transportable bike in July 2015 and developed it further during my Erasmus semester in Denmark in 2017.
“In November 2017, I participated in the competition ‘start-up weekend’ and won together with two other friends.”
The barbecue product is almost fully funded, having raised around 12,000 euros (£10,400) of its goal of around 13,000 euros (£11,000).
The extendable grill is available on Kickstarter from 129 euros (£89), with deliveries expected in July.
