Full Description

A great 6 month temporary assignment with a leading Investor Services group. Responsibilities will include the financial control and reporting of the growing Funds business in Guernsey, ensuring that the underlying Financial Operations are run in a controlled, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. The role holder will support the Head of Finance in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and periodic forecasts and deliver accurate and timely information as required, ensuring that the financial performance of the business area is measured against budgets and forecasts. You will also manage cash in line with Group policy, whilst ensuring local regulatory capital requirements are met. Working with the credit controller, you will drive the collection of debt and protect from revenue leakage. Candidates should be professionally qualified accountants with Financial Controller experience/knowledge and experience of the financial services industry, ideally from a funds business.
