Are you a nurse seeking a breath of fresh air? An opening has arisen for an experienced staff nurse to work within the Orthopaedic Unit on the beautiful island of Guernsey, Channel Islands. This specialty is a developing service to involve pre assessment, out-reach, discharge planning and enhanced recovery. It embraces inter professional working, having close working relationships with, for example, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and the Discharge Planning Team. The role holder willhold current first level registration with the NMC. Having an approved mentor course at level 2 or equivalent and competency in intravenous drug administration is advantageous. There is also subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the island alone and an 8-year employment permit for those relocating with a partner and/or family member(s).
