The States of Guernsey are looking to recruit a Senior Projects Officer.
The post holder will report to the Manager, Strategy and Policy and will have a close working relationship with the Transport Strategy Officer, Road Safety Officer and the Project Technician (Transport Strategy) in relation to ITS matters and with the Manager, Licensing and Operations in regard to driver licensing, IT and operational matters.
You will lead, co-ordinate and manage various Traffic and Highway Services’ (THS) projects and workstreams, primarily relating to the Integrated Transport Strategy. Your duties will include recording and monitor progress of the various projects, undertaking high level research and advising on operational, policy and legislative matters, plus the preparation and delivery of any reports, briefing papers and policy letters etc. to Committee where necessary.
