A global risk consulting, captive and insurance management company are looking to appoint a Senior Insurance Technician to join the team and help continue this very significant growth area.The candidate will be reporting to the Insurance Manager and the primary role is to support ICoE team members in carrying out day-to-day insurance, underwriting and claims processes for a panel of AIM clients. Ensuring that office and client business strategies, plans and insurance programme placements are achieved and that administration excellence is provided to clients.Over time this role will progress to take primary responsibility for a portfolio of AIM clients under the supervision of the Insurance Manager and Operational Executive.Some of the key responsibilities are to ensure client deadlines are met at all times within the requisite procedures and practices and to the agreed service levels. Monitor renewal deadlines for all clients, assist with underwriting assessment and premium calculations, monitoring and chasing premium receipts, recoveries, commissions etc.The role requires the successful candidate to work closely with the accounting staff to ensure all insurance matters are correctly reflected in the management accounts. There will also need to be Board and UCC pack preparation, support and presentation of insurance matters to client Directors at Board and UCC meetings. Development of excellent working relationships with colleagues, the GFSC and Auditors as well as clients. Previous experience within the captive insurance industry is desirable.
