Full Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join their team in delivering comprehensive fiduciary and financial services to a diverse portfolio of Trust, Company, and Private Client relationships. The role is full-time and involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely accounts preparation for tax and regulatory purposes. Working closely with a small, specialised team, the Senior Accounts Officer will contribute to providing a high level of personalised service in a competitive market. Click here to read more Job Duties: Prepare Trust and Company accounts in compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain records to meet filing deadlines for tax and regulatory obligations. Review and reconcile financial records, including bank accounts and investment portfolios, and resolve queries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Provide technical support on accounting matters to in-house teams. Proactively implement and refine systems, procedures, and standards for compliance. Prepare accounts for in-house companies as necessary. Liaise with investment managers, bankers, and other professionals as needed. Assist with ad hoc assignments and projects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and anti-money laundering practices. Job Requirements: Relevant experience in a similar accounting role. Part-qualified or willingness to study towards a professional qualification (AAT, CAT, ACCA, ICA). Strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to tasks. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Effective oral and written communication abilities. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a busy team environment. Proficiency with IT packages, DMS systems, and other databases; experience with NAVOne is advantageous.
