Our client is looking for a Sanctions Screening Compliance Analyst to join the AML Monitoring and Oversight Team on a full-time basis. The role involves becoming the subject matter expert for the World-Check screening system, ensuring accurate processing of screening alerts, and providing general support to the AML team. You will take ownership of sanctions screening operations and contribute to maintaining high standards of compliance. Click here to read more. Job Duties: Perform daily screening of customers and counterparties against global sanctions lists (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU, UK HMT) Review, analyse, and investigate potential matches generated by the screening system Escalate true matches or suspicious activity to senior compliance officers or management Collaborate with the compliance team, providing feedback and reporting Support the AML Monitoring and Oversight team with general tasks as required Manage operational reporting and participate in audits and reviews Understand and apply Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Client Risk Assessment requirements Ensure operational risk events are reported and managed within agreed timelines Job Requirements: Some previous experience in compliance or risk within financial services Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and using the internet as a research tool Knowledge of sanctions screening and systems like World-Check or equivalent What Youll Love:This role offers an exciting opportunity to specialise in sanctions screening and become a key member of the AML Monitoring and Oversight team.
