Grade: Band 4 – £26,416 - £29,666 BAR £30,566 - £31,465 or Band 5 - £30,566 – £35,513 BAR £36,501 - £39,560 per annum

Please note that public sector pay negotiations for 2022 are ongoing.

 

Please note that this is a fully qualified practitioner role, however an appointment would be considered at Band 4 level for a Trainee Practitioner with full training provided.

The States of Guernsey are looking to recruit a Psychological Well-being Practitioner to work within the Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service.  

 

The post-holder will work within a Primary Care Psychological Therapies service as part of a stepped care approach providing high volume low intensity interventions, which will include a range of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) based assisted self-management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Training and supervision provided within the team.

The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
