Full Description

A unique opportunity for a specialist technician at this leading telecommunications and broadband services provider. The successful applicant will be responsible for the design, commissioning and installation of FTTP (Fibre to the Premise) active equipment and new transmission equipment as well as providing support to System X and the SDH engineering team. This specialised role will also involve supporting both hardware and software updates on relevant networks and the decommissioning of redundant equipment. You will have an understanding or willingness to understand broadband xDSL and XFS-PON networks as well as a good level of competency with computer based systems. You must be able to multi-task and prioritise work accordingly with great attention to detail.
