We are looking for outstanding Learning Support Assistants to join our teams across the Secondary School Partnership with immediate effect on either a full or part time basis.

The States of Guernsey recently agreed its vision for secondary and post 16 education on the island. This new vision will see the further development of the Secondary School Partnership and the reorganisation of the current educational estate into three 11-16 schools and a new purpose-built Sixth Form Centre. This will form part of a post 16 campus co-located with the Guernsey Institute.

Currently Les Beaucamps, La Mare de Carteret, St Sampson’s, and the Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre are the four States’ secondary schools in Guernsey. The schools form the Secondary School Partnership which is led by a unified Executive Leadership Team and works in Federation with St Anne’s School in Alderney.

The successful candidates will be passionate about supporting and raising students’ individual achievements with innovative ideas to build on existing good practice. They will be part of a team who identify, support and enable personalised opportunities for students. We expect our staff to make a full contribution to the ethos, identity and life of the school. The person appointed will be committed to the role in the context of the Secondary School Partnership and the transition to the new secondary school model.
