Our client, a leading Insurance business, is seeking a Insurance Underwriting Manager to join its expanding Guernsey team. To assume responsibility for the insurance underwriting and risk management related aspects of an assigned portfolio of captive and commercial (re)insurance companies. The key duties will include being the point of contact for nominated clients and build and maintain relationships and an understanding of their needs thereof. Produce information to enable the captive board of directors to make informed decisions relating to client needs. Additionally, liaise with parent company and risk managers, regulator, insurers, brokers, auditors, lawyers and many other relationships to fulfil the client needs.There are many facets to this role, including accounting administration, documentation, client liaison, board meetings and minutes, marketing, compliance and risk.
