Full Description

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organised HR & Payroll Administrator to support the efficient employment and payroll processing for yacht crew. This role involves ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, providing high-quality service to Owners and Captains, and maintaining accurate records. Click here to read more Job Duties: Receiving and verifying payroll information from Yachts. Inputting and reconciling crew wage data monthly. Monitoring cash balances and requesting funds from Owners to ensure timely payments. Using company systems to arrange crew wages and payments, conducting daily checks to confirm all transactions. Processing payroll year-end requirements accurately and on time. Producing and processing employment documents for crew, ensuring timely delivery and monitoring returns. Acting as the first point of contact for employment queries from crew members, Owners, and Captains. Liaising with relevant authorities regarding employment and payroll matters. Keeping up to date with legislation and regulatory requirements affecting seafarer employment. Maintaining accurate, confidential records and complying with GDPR and corrective action procedures. Contributing to the continuous improvement of company processes. Job Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully and diplomatically at all levels. Proficient in using business IT systems, computer, and cloud-based applications. Problem-solving capability and effective time management. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Fluent in spoken and written English. Eligible to live and work in Guernsey. A good sense of humour.
