Full Description
Our client is seeking a Fund Administrator to join their Private Capital Fund Administration team. The role involves providing fund administration, corporate services, and investor services to private capital funds and underlying fund vehicles, ensuring compliance with fund documentation, legal, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will ensure that services align with client Service Level Agreements, internal and external deadlines, and operational policies, procedures, and checklists. Job Duties:
Prepare fund distribution and call notices to investors in accordance with fund agreements and legal requirements.
Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to handle ad hoc investor queries and maintain databases.
Prepare accurate payment instructions for approved invoices, FX transactions, investments, distributions, and ad hoc payments.
Update and control static investor data, including bank details, in collaboration with the Investor Relations team.
Assist in analysing investment proposals to ensure alignment with fund investment criteria.
Liaise with compliance and CDD teams to ensure funds comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Upload invoices to the workflow management system and maintain accurate data records.
Assist in document execution and fulfil ad hoc administrative client and investor requests.
Liaise with internal and external parties for fund administration and custom reporting.
Support internal and external auditors, and assist with year-end/interim audits.
Assist the Corporate Services team in preparing board packs for meetings.
Provide input into the review and optimisation of business processes and procedures.
Participate in group projects involving the implementation of new systems or platforms.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, procedures, and controls in all fund administration duties.
Job Requirements:
Effective administration, time management, and prioritisation skills.
Ability to manage high volumes of time-sensitive tasks effectively.
Sound problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Interest in studying towards a relevant professional qualification.
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
Motivation and adaptability to learn new applications and processes.
Understanding of fund structures, cash flows, and the Private Capital industry.
Consistent ability to meet client deadlines.
