Our client is seeking a Data Analyst / Data Engineer to support the ongoing development and improvement of their data warehousing, integration, and reporting activities. This full-time role will involve delivering reliable and accurate data to drive the business digital transformation agenda. While the core focus is on data analysis and reporting, you will also contribute to data engineering and administration activities. Job Duties: Design, develop, and document data integration solutions using the full Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server Data Warehouse, Integration Services, Analysis Services Tabular, Power BI). Contribute to application integration architecture projects and develop solutions to drive process automation via API-based data solutions. Use standardised patterns to audit routines for data integrity and performance. Support the development of a governed self-service first approach to data and business intelligence. Work on complex, multi-system reconciliation projects to provide assurance across revenue lines. Provide support to the wider business on niche and complex data projects. Maintain secure development practices following company DevOps practices and governance. Ensure compliance with licence, regulatory rules, data protection law, and health and safety policies. Undertake security awareness training covering information security, data protection, and financial crime. Job Requirements: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new skills and solve complex technical problems. Goal-oriented with a drive to deliver results. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good analytical skills. Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills. Methodical and conscientious approach to work. Experience in the telecommunications industry (desirable). Experience working with SQL, BI tools, and/or Data Engineering using the Microsoft data stack (on-prem or cloud) (desirable).
