Full Description
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the implementation of their business development strategy and drive revenue growth primarily in Guernsey, with potential involvement in Jersey and the Isle of Man. Reporting to the Business Development Senior Manager, this role involves generating new leads, fostering a business development culture, and coaching partners and staff to excel in sales and business growth. Job Duties:
Promote a business development culture across the Crown Dependencies.
Identify and manage cross-selling opportunities within the organisation and the wider network.
Oversee sales operations, including reporting, pipeline management, CRM systems, and pursuits library.
Participate in relevant industry events to promote services.
Maintain and develop account and sector plans.
Conduct client reviews to ensure client needs are met through all service line offerings.
Seek new market opportunities in collaboration with the Head of Business Development.
Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations.
Liaise with internal and external teams to align cross-jurisdictional opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships within the UK, Ireland, KPMG Islands Group, and international networks.
Coach partners and staff in effective sales and business development strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing department to execute business development initiatives.
Support wider KPMG Islands Group projects as required.
Job Requirements:
5-10 years of relevant experience and/or qualifications.
Strong networking and presentation skills.
Proven experience in financial services is essential; familiarity with the Asset Management sector is desirable.
Demonstrated track record of successful business development and revenue growth.
Strong interpersonal skills, including confidence and independence.
High responsiveness to client needs and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Excellent spoken, written, and listening skills in English.
Personal accountability, initiative, and attention to detail.
