This is a great opportunity to join the commission involved with ensuring and maintaining the integrity of electronic gambling activities. The purpose of this role is to manage and have oversight over new operators to support future pipeline. Working from Guernsey, the Assistant Director is to issue guidance in relation to The eGambling Ordinance to licensees and certificate holders, including obligations in respect of anti-money laundering and the countering of terrorist financing. The role holder will provide operational guidance relating to a wide range of issues, including probity, compliance and regulation of licensees and certificate holders. They will assist and advise on the formulation of policy concerning review and analysis of licensee and certificate holders regulatory requirements and monitor compliance of licensees and certificate holders, including, but not limited to: the on-site inspection of licensees; Internal Control System, Business Associates and gaming equipment approvals. Candidates should have experience within an eGambling operation, knowledge and understanding of Internet Gaming System data and reporting capabilities, an analytical approach and the ability to use creative and constructive thinking when solving problems, the ability to express difficult concepts in a clear and concise manner and the ability to work under pressure and provide practical and decisive advice, sometimes in urgent situations.
