Our client is seeking an Assistant Broker / Underwriter to join their Underwriting department on a permanent full-time basis. You will deal with clients over the telephone and via email to ensure that retention and sales targets are maximised through the provision of efficient communication and negotiation skills, whilst maintaining thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions. You will be required to learn and understand the legal principles of insurance contracts and the company insurance products. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Windows based programmes, excellent communication and timekeeping skills, the ability to work alone and as part of a team and good overall work and presentation skills.
