Our client is seeking an Analyst to join their Investment, Fiduciary, and Pension Division. Reporting to the Assistant Director, this role involves supporting the delivery of high-quality prudential, financial crime, and conduct regulation within the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The successful candidate will assist in safeguarding the regions international reputation while fostering a regulatory environment where good firms can thrive. Job Duties:
Assist in delivering PRISM risk-based supervision, enforcement actions, and policy development.
Conduct research, analyse data, and identify key issues during on-site visits, ensuring accurate minute-taking.
Support the Commission's relationship with licensees and funds, including assessing applications and ongoing compliance.
Analyse periodic returns, financial statements, and other relevant data to evaluate compliance with licensing criteria.
Prepare and present findings from on-site visits and risk governance panels, offering professional feedback to licensees.
Address enquiries from stakeholders, including licensees, regulators, and the public, while maintaining good industry links.
Participate in internal projects such as process reviews and statistical exercises, contributing to team objectives.
Support the training of new staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
Represent the organisation at relevant training sessions, conferences, and workshops to develop professional expertise.
Ensure work meets high standards, prioritising tasks effectively and making recommendations for improvements.
Job Requirements:
Strong analytical skills with experience in research, data analysis, and risk assessment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality written work, including reports, minutes, and presentations.
