Trust Corporation International has been shortlisted in the independent trust company category of the highly-regarded Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP) Private Client Awards.

This is the second year in succession that the company has been selected as a finalist in the independent category, which was only introduced for the 2014 awards and has a final shortlist of five companies.

The awards are open to private client practitioners worldwide and have come to represent and reward the best companies and individuals the industry has to offer.

Over the past year Trust Corporation International has continued to flourish and grow as a result of its independence and high level of staff expertise.  An example of the continued development of the business over the last year was the appointment of Advocate Andrew Walters as an executive director to spearhead the further development of the firm’s corporate and institutional fiduciary offering and client base.

Amit Taylor, group managing director, said: “We are very pleased to have been nominated again in the independent trust company category.

“Our position as a truly independent trust company is one of which we are immensely proud and to be recognised by STEP and listed among the best companies in the private client industry is a validation of this.”

The award winners will be selected by a panel of experts and announced at the Awards Ceremony in September at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London.
