Island Archives will be temporarily closed to the public from Thursday 9th of January until March for essential building works.
Although visitors will not be allowed on site for their safety, we will be continuing to take research enquiries throughout January, so if you have an enquiry, please contact us by calling 224512 or emailing archives@gov.gg and we will do our best to help.
During February, however, we will not be taking research enquiries while we focus on behind the scenes work.
Watch this space for updates on our work throughout the closure and we hope you enjoy seeing some of the behind the scenes tasks that keep our service running.
We apologise for the short notice of this closure, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you again once the work is complete.
