The team behind the event is also encouraging employers to take advantage of the bespoke CSR Day packages available to give their employees the opportunity to think collectively about how they can improve our community from a business perspective.

Marc Winn, TEDxStPeterPort organiser, said: "Last year’s event was a real success and we are looking forward to an even bigger and better one this year. There will be talks on education, happiness, health, kindness and the environment to name but a few of the topics that will be explored. It is a rewarding day as those involved always leave feeling empowered, motivated and keen to spark change. The event is for everyone and we look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces!"

Louise Burrows, Head of Marketing and PR at Sure, says: "The TEDxStPeterPort event is always hugely inspiring and we’re pleased to be supporting such an innovative local event.

"The line-up of guest speakers is unrivalled in its diversity and the wealth of talent assembled by the organisers is a key part of making this event unmissable for anyone with an interest in sharing ideas with the aim of making a real difference in the local community."
