This year’s Spring Walking Festival has just drawn to a close after a very successful two weeks of guided tours around the Bailiwick.

Over the two weeks, 364 people took part in the festival with guided tours around the Bailiwick. Over the two weeks, 364 people took part in the festival with a fairly level split of visitors and locals (186 visitors and 178 locals). This is an increase of 104 from 2023 when 260 people took part. Bryan Pill’s wheelchair accessible tour on June 7th was the first of its kind in the festivals and a great success, with 17 people taking part. Bryan will be offering two accessible tours in the Autumn Walking Festival in September. Feedback from participants was very positive, including the following comments which were posted on social media:

“We had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours…”

“Thanks for the tour. Very interesting hearing about a part of town that is so familiar!”

Planning is now well under way for this year’s Autumn Walking Festival which will run from September 14th – 29th which some exciting new tours planned. Please keep an eye of the Visit Guernsey Website and our Facebook page “Guernsey Spring and Autumn Walking Festivals” for updates.
