Seasonal speed limit, parking zone and other changes

Islanders are being reminded that with effect from 1st October 2023,

 There will be various changes to speed limits, traffic flow and parking changes as follows:
Speed Limits: 

Vazon 

From the Loophole Tower (opposite La Rocquette Road) to Fort Houmet access road – Changes from 25mph to 35mph on the 1st October 2023 and will remain in place until 31st May 2024 (inclusive). 

Route De la Lague and Route De Rocquaine 

From Imperial Hotel to La Route du Coudre – Changes from 25mph to 35mph on the 1st October 2023 and will remain in place until 31st May 2024 (inclusive). 

Traffic flow 

Petit Bot Road and La Rue des Pages 

The summer one-way restriction in the section between Petit Bot Tearooms and Les Pages (10am to 7pm daily) is removed from 1st October 2023. Two-way traffic flow will remain in place until 31st May 2024 (inclusive). 

Parking changes 

South Esplanade 

The parking spaces on the landward side of the road opposite the Credit Suisse building will change from 2-hour parking to 10-hour parking on the 1st October 2023 and will remain in place until 30th April 2024 (inclusive) 

La Vallette 

Approximately 10 spaces on the seaward side of the road broadly opposite La Vallette Underground Military Museum will change from 2-hour parking to 10-hour parking on the 1st
