Visitors to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital this week are advised to expect some minor disruption as new chillers are installed on the hospital’s roof above the Bulstrode entrance.

From tomorrow afternoon (Saturday), there will be restricted parking in this area until the work is completed on Sunday.

Lifting the chillers requires a large crane, which has been brought from the UK and is due to arrive on-site at about 8am on Sunday.

On Sunday access to the following areas of the hospital will be limited for short periods of time, which will be controlled by HSC staff:
• Bulstrode Entrance
• Outside dining room entrance
• Internal Entrance to Carey ward

There will be a one-way traffic route around the hospital on Sunday only, which will be clearly signposted identifying that the Emergency Department can only be accessed via the Rue Rondel road.

Visitors are asked to please respect these temporary closures as they are there for safety.
